University of Calgary - Outro Celebrating Tracy Dawson
In the spirit of reciprocity, join outgoing 2025-26 CDWP Canadian Writer-in-Residence, Tracy Dawson, as she hosts readings and moderates a Q & A with four acclaimed Alberta authors launching new books. Susan Carpenter will read from her novel Bad Advice, Dania Idriss will read from her novel Tales of the Mountains and the Sea, JoAnn McCaig will read from her novel Beneficiary and Jane Park will read from her novel Inheritance. This event marks the finale of Tracy’s residency. Learn about the project she’s worked on over the course of her time at the University of Calgary, celebrate new work, connect with other writers and enjoy a preview of our incoming Canadian Writer-in-Residence. Refreshments will be served and the University of Calgary Bookstore will be onsite to sell books. This event is free, but space is limited. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
